Today we have a collaborative post with a very special friend!

I met Gabi in school, we started surfing together at the age of 15 if I'm not wrong, we explored islands, parties and so on…good times!

Gabi is such a fun person, down to earth and a very good friend ;). She studied biology , but around 2015 she started getting deeper with holistic and natural therapy and her journey began.

Thank you so much for sharing your journey and knowledge with us, we appreciate all kinds of love, especially the ones that heal and balance our body and soul.

Gabriela Magalhaes is an Ayurvedic Therapist, Aromatherapist and Bach Flowers Therapist

1- When the natural therapy came into your life, when you started to get interested in it?

I have always been passionate about nature! That's why I went to college in Biology. At the beginning of college I started to change my lifestyle. I stopped eating meat, and started to get into the world of natural and holistic therapies.

2- Was there a reason in your life that made you seek and go deeper into natural therapy.? Always liked?

I always liked it, but there was a time when I had hormonal problems due to prolonged use of contraceptives and also many anxiety attacks. Then I started doing yoga and consulting with an Ayurvedic therapist. It changed my life.

3-Tell us more about your experience with Ayurveda and your trip to India! I love the photos!

From then on, I took a training course in Ayurveda Therapist for a year and then I went to take a month-long course in India, at Patil College of Ayurveda, in Pune, through a partnership with a very renowned school here in Brazil (Yoga Bhahma Vidyalaya). As Ayurveda is a very wide universe and needs constant studies, this year I started to do a Postgraduate Degree in Specialization in Ayurveda, also in Yoga Bhahma Vidyalaya. In addition, I went deeper into aromatherapy and Bach Flowers! I strongly believe in the integration and power of these therapies in an integrated way!

4-What are the main differences in your life since you started to apply your knowledge in your daily life?

The biggest difference for me is the self-knowledge that holistic therapies have given me! These therapies allow us to know ourselves deeply. Ayurveda allows us to understand how our body and mind work, our tendencies to disharmony, the best foods and combinations, and the best routines for each one. It treats each individual being, and that I find incredible! Aromatherapy, based on the knowledge of each property of essential oils, helps us in physical, mental and emotional well-being. And the Bach Florals remedies subtly restore balance and emotional well-being. So I believe that the main difference was getting to know me, and knowing exactly what works and what doesn't for me, and knowing how to use natural tools to rebalance myself.

5-I know you have started an IG account focused in holistic therapies that Im already a fan!So many good tips! Tell us about your projects!

My main project today is to produce content related to therapies. I believe that this knowledge is very powerful and must be disseminated. For this year, I will reconcile my current work with individual assistance, where I will integrate Ayurveda, Aromatherapy and Bach Flowers, for the physical-mental-emotional balance.

Totally agreed! I also believe in the natural therapy and the importance of looking inside and having a balanced life. I'm already a fan of your work and it's really cool to see people that I admire dedicate themselves to studying and sharing information so essential to our life and that, in fact, help us having a balanced life, especially nowadays!

Gabi shared with us some great tips and super easy to make at home which I doubt you do not feel ready for day ahead with Invigorating Bath or that wonderful extra help to slow down that just Lavender gives after a busy day of work.

SPA AT HOME

Invigorating Bath

Want to start the day with energy? This tip will help you!

The rosemary oil has invigorating and energetic properties and the Sicilian lemon gives us the mood to start the day!

Essential oils of rosemary with lemon.

In a small pot, place a handful of coarse salt in the opposite corner of the shower. 5 drops of each oil.

*Because rosemary oil has a stimulating property, it is not suitable for agitated people and do not use with history of epilepsy. Recommended consultation with a therapist before use.

Relaxing massage

Lavender (Lavandula Officinalis) is known as the most balanced oil in aromatherapy. It brings balance and relaxation.

Relaxing massage

Essential lavender oil. 10 drops of the oil in 30ml of vegetable oil or neutral base cream.

Lavanda Oil in a difusor-

Calming, relaxing, sedative to help with insomnia and anxiety.

This one is a really good tip if you have insomnia or any issues to get to sleep, try adding one drop in your pillow before bed! Sweet dreeeams! ;)
