Summer memories in Stradbroke

Our favourite family gateway

There's nothing better than enjoying summer moments. As the end of this summer was just around the corner we decided to go on a little adventure before it's gone! (sad face) Straddie it's probably my favourite place to go to. The island is beautiful, very calm, away from crowds and noises and all the rushes that bigger cities have yet still have cute restaurants, cafes, markets in case you run out of something while camping….

We always stay at Adder Rock. They have different kinds of accomodation, we stayed at they “Eco Tents” once when Dylan was very little which is amazing, but we kind of like the experience of camping, and they have campings sites right at the beach. It's very quiet, they have a nice hot shower (it's all we need in the cooler months), and you can spot cangurus, koalas and all kinds of animals around. I highly recommend.

If you are the kinda person that enjoys being in contact with nature and likes running away from the crowd, Straddie is a dream.

The kids absolutely will love the experience. Who doesn’t love spending the whole day at the beach, eating yummy foods, surfing, exploring… Those memories that we take for life.

These animals don't appear to mind our presence. It's incredible to see them enjoying life among us.

I am so happy that we went on this road trip and created so many wonderful memories. I love taking photos of my son, he's definitely my favorite model!
