Fiji - Ozzy Palms

The Beach House – Sea & Sarong

TThis trip was an absolute dream come true.

A good friend of mine from the Gold Coast recently launched her brand, and she invited me to join her in Fiji to photograph her second collection. My response? "Giiiirrl, I'm packing!" — haha, no hesitation there!

Traveling to paradise to do what you love sounds like a dream, right? It was even better than that. While we definitely worked hard, we also carved out time to surf, relax, and enjoy incredible food. And this location — wow. Pure magic.

If you haven’t been to Fiji yet, you should absolutely add it to your list. It’s only about a 3-hour flight from Australia, and you can find great accommodation at very reasonable prices. The waves were amazing, the food was delicious, and the overall vibe? Just what your soul needs.

We stayed at the Fiji Beach House, located on the Coral Coast of Viti Levu — about a 2-hour drive from the airport. You can also catch a bus straight from the airport, which is super easy and convenient.

What’s great about the Beach House is that it's on the main island, but still feels tucked away from everything. It’s the kind of place where you instantly slow down — super relaxing, peaceful, and surrounded by nature.

They offer a free daily yoga class (yes, please!), a top-rated surf school, and even a dive center for those feeling adventurous.

The waves break about a 20-minute paddle from the coast — or you can take the boat out, which is what we did (lazy girls, I know... but I had to save my arms for the shoot, ha!).

One afternoon while we were out surfing, there were just five of us in the water. The sky was a mix of sun and clouds, and then it started to lightly rain. Suddenly — the most beautiful rainbow appeared. A full arc, with the most vibrant colors, framed by palm trees in the background. It was pure magic. One of those unforgettable moments.

That's why is called Coral Coast. You better look for where you're walking. Of course, I hit them a thousand times.

There’s nothing better than doing what you love — especially when it’s alongside brands you truly believe in and trust. Photography and travel are such powerful sources of inspiration for creativity. It felt amazing to explore this little slice of paradise, capturing moments surrounded by palm trees and soaking in all that tropical energy. I live for this kind of magic — pure joy!

Thank you Millie for taking me to this journey with you!
